Hunting for Invasive Burmese Pythons deep in the Everglades! Burmese pythons are one of the most destructive invasive predators in Florida. Native to Southeast Asia, they've spread throughout the Everglades with no natural predators and an endless supply of prey. These snakes eat just about anything they can overpower-rabbits, raccoons, birds, deer, even alligators. Because of that, they've caused serious declines in many native wildlife populations. Some estimates say there could be more than 300,000 pythons in South Florida alone. That's why people like Sammie @Allgoodsadventures @Trapper Mike re every day working to remove them. But the real stars of the operation is Arty and Phoenix, who've been trained since they were just a few months old to track the scent of invasive Burmese Pythons! And only after about an hour of searching, Phoenix picked up a scent and things got interesting. We ended up catching a 9-foot Burmese python.
