Do yall not know how much lumber costs? A 6x6 beam right now is almost 50 bucks for a 12 ft beam, theres SIX here so thats already 300 bucks just for wood. Then you have the stain, sanding,and massive concrete blocks to move. Simple≠cheap

I did this when I first bought my house 14 years ago. It was super easy and cheap! I added cushions and glued the cinder blocks together.

Better and more comfortable. The only thing that cost me a bit of money were the cushions and I even got those on sale. This was a few years ago at my previous house. Cinder blocks are heavy so if you ever have to move or take it apart , it sucks.
