I recommend switching to Windows 10 because, with Windows 11, even if you disable Windows Defender permanently, it'll come back via a Windows update. So the best move is to switch to Windows 10, because they don't receive updates again, then you disable Windows Defender permanently, and you wouldn't have to worry about losing any files.

this is well known brother but thank you , I play fitgirl repacks💯💯 Ma man and I'm using paid version of 360 antivirus none of these are happening , I don't need exclusions I only did on KSM Auto only, I just turn off for the first time I install and tray yebgame then it will never happen again ,

A simpler way to do it would be to create a folder titled “Games”, add the folder to the exclusion list and always install your games there so you dont have to do it every time

This is how I go about mine 1. I don't download to the drive containing my windows 2. I've excluded the games download folder and my game install folders 3. I don't use that machine for sensitive work 💀
