Living in a small town comes with plenty of gossip. Thirty years ago, I lived in a little village in England as an American. I could hear the rumors and sometimes tried to change people’s opinions, but it wasn’t easy. After four years, I eventually moved back home to California. Even so, I still return every year to visit my close friends there, and we catch up on FaceTime every week. It can be hard sometimes, but I truly love England. 🇬🇧

@Drew: My lingering fear in small town living is that there may be a lack of progressiveness and an abundance repetitiveness or redundancy. When you’re feeing down, is it a feeling of being stifled or restricted? If so, how do you resolve any feelings of claustrophobia derived from living in a small town? Thank you.

Move with us we live outside Rome like 20 minutes drive near the beach and near airport, we paied less them 100k for our house . You can be close big city and lower price

Has to be not being fluent with the language. I know you’re learning and doing great. However, if you were fluent down to the slang and mannerisms things would be a lot different. I can’t imagine how difficult that would be and probably that’s what holds me back from a move like this. I’m 6’8” and everyone has something funny to say. It’s a great conversation starter and I like to make people laugh. It hit me that if I moved I would lose all of those fun type of conversations. So I enjoy watching you with the ups and down, living your best life. Your inspiring!!

I grew up in a town of 5000 people it can be rough sometimes. When I was able to leave as a young woman, I never looked back. Try to lean on your good friends you have made. You have also built an amazing TT community !
