One problem I see with this is that Trump has allowed for greater action by Israel then Biden ever did. Trump does not have any goal or view in international politics but Biden did and although what he allowed Israel to do is a greater harm then what would be ideal it was lesser nonetheless. Additionally supporting Trump become president which I believe you have done if you chose to not vote for the Democratic Party you directly contributed to the injustices happening in the United States including the deportations, holding of American citizens and deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans as a result of lost benefits

It's always the assumption that the democrats will do less harm, yet I have yet to see any democrat doing the actual math on which party harms more. Because statistically there are places where the Republicans are this "lesser evil", the Democrats consistently deporting more than Republicans on average for example. So what if we work out the numbers and more people are actually harmed under Republicans? Will these lesser evil harm reduction people vote for the Republican? Or would that force them to come to terms with the fact that electoralism is not the solution

am i wrong in saying that this point is being made from a Kantian perspective specifically? Not to say that this point would be wrong from a different ethical view, but treating people as a mere means isnt an issue for views like utilitarianism or virtue ethics
