This is why the Chinese system of market socialism or “socialism with Chinese characteristics” works well for their economy. Sectors that are necessary for human survival such as transportation and healthcare are nationalized. Sectors that require more innovation and capital investment such as the tech industry are privatized. So you can be a capitalist and get rich in China, you just cannot do the subprime mortgage crisis in order to get rich.
