@theactualansley: Sticky buns are such a comfort bake for me because growing up, my family would go to a local bakery on Saturday mornings with friends to get them. These caramel pecan sticky buns bring back the best memories and are actually very simple to make. The link to Gold Medal Flour’s original recipe is in my bio! A few things I like to do: I put all the ingredients straight into my stand mixer bowl to save time and cleanup, but you can definitely make the dough by hand as well. Make sure your milk is between 120–130°F so it properly activates the yeast. My house stays pretty cool this time of year, so I let the dough rise in the oven with just the light turned on. When I roll out the dough, I like to trim it into a perfect rectangle and use unflavored, unwaxed dental floss to cut the rolls so it gives the cleanest, prettiest swirls.
