Been to Vietnam last year. Immigration only took like 10 minutes and that’s without the fast pass. My only tip would be to apply for you visa months in advance and your sweet.

My hot tip is get your visa done early and add extra weeks to the dates. We get 90 days. Too many people forgo the visa thinking they can get it on arrival. Add extra days in case something happens

It depends on what time you arrive at the airport. At night time is longer than the day time. I just got back from there, it took us around 40 minutes to get through immigration at noon. It would cost us $200 for 4 of us to pay fast track to get through immigration to coming in, but on the way flying out, you still get on the long lines to get through immigration, it isn’t worth it.
