Our local humane department will take in ferals, fix them and then they give them to people for barn cats. Maybe call your local one nd see if they have the same kind f program

Find your local TNR groups or smaller rescues like non profits! They should be able to place him somewhere or take him in.

Once you trap the feral cats, put them in the back of your truck and take them a couple of miles away and release them in another area or another neighborhood. This way he can still be roaming free, but doesn’t have to interact with your cat.

You cam drop at animal control as a stray. You shouldn't have to pay to drop it off since it's a stray. We recently had to do that to a cat that was found in my yard and didn't have to pay anything.

maybe getting the cat fixed and releasing it elsewhere? I know thats frowned upon but that cat is going to cause a lot of problems🙃 from experience you do not want an aggressive cat coming around. Hopefully that black cat is just passing through.
