@noahgoinscomics: @Alex Ross Art I had the luck of finding a GIANT expanded edition of this graphic novel (the only way to read it) at my LCS a few months back and it hasn’t left my mind since I read it. The more I begin to understand the impact and originality of Kirby’s art, I also see how it reflects in artists work even to this day. Alex ross accomplished that boldly, and creatively. If you love classic comics, classic marvel I should say, this is a MUST read. It’s the most fun I think Ross has had on any sequential story of his, and definitely one of my favorites from him. I’d label this more a sequel than a reimagining. It was also apparently a pitch pilot of sorts. Ross wanted a shot at writing the Fantastic Four ongoing, and this was a way to showcase how he’d handle it if given the job.
