I’m a folk Catholic and technically yes you’re correct but please remember roundabout the time of Easter was also the pagan holiday Ostara which sounds very similar to Easter but is a Celtic pig tradition dating back sanctuaries in England and was a prominent celebration in England until the invasion of the Roman Empire now I’m not saying another same but I feel like it was easier for the moments to Anglais the word perhaps I’m not 100% sure on all of this part of it but what I do know is that the two sound very similar and celebrated roundabout the same time

The goddess eostre did have a festival she was accociated with spring and matches other dawn spring goddess from Europe and Asia she was even depicted with rabbits so clearly there’s some connection
