There’s an alternative to both that no one gets because of the cost. It’s made of corn and compostable, feels porous and very thin, but otherwise feels like and works like plastic. We don’t have to suffer with paper straws, and we don’t gotta use plastic either, but businesses just refuse to pay the little extra for the corn straws
