I preferred the Premium post-launch model they had in older Battlefield games. It had it's flaws, yes, separating the player base from those who could afford the DLC and couldn't. But there was so much hype leading up to the release of a DLC, knowing we were getting a bundle of maps, weapons, gadgets, and vehicles in one launch, but nowadays its drip-fed with one map or weapon released in intervals. I suppose its okay because its free now but it still felt more satisfying back then
