I lived in Oceanside I’ll never forget Junior Seau on the weekends he would sit in front of his home on the strand on l during football off season. He was always super nice to locals. All us in O’Side always respected his privacy. It’s never been the same Oside since he passed away.

We went to Sam Goody’s and the Wherehouse to buy our cassette tapes and Compact Discs! Mayor was Susan Golding! Governor was Pete Wilson! Some of the adults listened to KBest95! Watched “Where in the world is Carmen San Diego,” “Reading Rainbow,” “Reading between the lions” on KPBS! Junior Seau, Stan Humphries, Natrone Means were the Bolts! We wore DARE t-shirts! Shopped at Miller’s Outpost and Anchor Blue! If you didn’t go to Home Depot, you went to Builder’s Emporium! Circuit City & Radio Shack! Rented movies at Blockbuster Video! Good times! 🥰🥰🥰
