The way I see it these top top guys were treating football the way we treat a full time job as adults now. You play in the morning until afternoon for lunch, then play all afternoon and come home in the evening. When you think about it like that, let’s say 6 hours a day for 3 years almost everyday from age 4. You’re already talking ~6500 hours experience at age 6.
