You would have to do that 1000 times to 1000 different people to determine whether that is statistically significant.

why don't you do the test where you take the first drop of blood and get a reading wipe that clean with a clean 4x4 and then squeeze out another drop and use the same meter with a new strip and see what your results are

5 isn’t that far and every finger can give you a different reading, but yes we and they still teach to wipe the 1st drop off.

Now do the same test but wipe with alcohol and then on the 2nd wipe with gauze to see if the alcohol affects the reading.

I always wipe the first drop of blood when doing glucose or A1C check. When checking for anemia we wipe the first 3 drops of blood 🩸
