Romance novels are not smut. Smut is sex scenes and train porn but Romance or fantasy books with a scene or two that are part of the story and further the plot are not smut either. Smut is sex forward plot second, people are too loose with the words now days. A Fantasy story that has no spice till 3 books in is not smut its a fantasy novel or fantasy romance.

Romance books give me better ideas, my boyfriend benefits from it. It gives me courage to try stuff I would have never thought of. It has also healed parts of me I didn’t know I needed healed. It made me a better partner.

Do people not understand that it’s fantasy? Like I don’t get how people read things and expected to happen in real life. You don’t read Harry Potter and then go pick up a stick and think something is actually going to happen.
