Toyota do not have to run R200k discount deals or 1 year payment holidays to get their product off the floor. why are the "better" bakkie not outselling it? why are the trade in values and after sakes service of the "better" bakkies so poor?

When it gets to comfort, tech and looks, fuel consumption, Hilux is last. And then you PAY for your choice with insurance premiums. I do not knock it. It has a following second to none because people believe it will outlast generations. But so has Datsuns, Mazda, Isuzu etc.

well said ma guy, there's no point allowing emotions cloud common sense, even 700k it's too much for a hillux...terrible brakes, suspension it's a go kart, timing chain issues on the GD engines, poor build quality. I'm starting facts 😂.
