@quest.with.mags: I finally got to visit the famous infinity book tower inside the Municipal Library of Prague 📚 😍 This art installation is a huge cylindrical tower made up of around 8,000 stacked books. It was built in 1998 by Slovak artist Matej Krén, who lives and works in Prague. Mirrors inside the structure create the illusion of an endless tunnel of stories and knowledge 📖 Every single book used in the installation was either donated or saved from being thrown away, giving them a second life as art 🫶🏽 I visited in late winter and it took about an hour to get in, but seeing the infinite reflection of books was 100% worth the wait #prague #czechia #books #backpacker #solotravel
