@seeandsavethedogs: 🚨Lola A2247463 needs safe exit by WEDS 3.18 at North Central LA shelter! PUPPY LOLA NEEDS A HERO‼️ Lola is only 1 year old, but she’s already faced multiple hardships because of human failure. First, she was picked up wandering the streets as a stray. Then, no one came to claim this beautiful girl, and as a result Lola has been waiting for 3 months, nearly a third of her young life. Now, tragically, Lola finds herself on the dreaded euthanasia list because a member of the public put their hand in her kennel despite numerous signs posted in the facility warning people not to do this. Its reported that Lola left a mark (level 2 bite - did not break skin) on the persons wrist. Because of this, Lola has been moved inside out of public view, and is serving a 10 day mandatory rabies quarantine. Details are vague, but we believe that her quarantine will be up on Saturday 3/14, at which point she will have 4 days to make it out before she is euthanized (last day to adopt 3/18). With rescues so full and committed fosters hard to come by, Lola needs a committed ADOPTER to save her! If no one steps up, Lola will be another tragic statistic, and will never get to experience having a loving home. Visit the shelter to meet & adopt Lola! Please note: This is a volunteer networking page and is not monitored by LAAS or shelter staff. The shelter does NOT provide transport. Public must come to the shelter to adopt, or work with a rescue to foster, and arrange their own transport.
