Farming in north east Colorado, do you plan to spray every pass all year with it activated. A lot of our spay have a residual that last a few weeks. Seems it would add a few spray passes a year. Not including a rotator 1300b is around 400k less initial cost. Going to demo one this summer but not sold on it yet

Think I’d take the $150,000 difference between the systems, invest it in something else, and pay the per acre charge……but we use a residual in most passes and don’t farm in the same conditions as you.

Just out of curiosity, do you notice a difference in integration with the sprayer with the weed it vs see and spray? Along with difference in quality of spray and patterns in your field?

Are residuals nonexistent in the majority of your applications? I understand every operation is different however applying a residual with a broadcast herbicide app will always benefit in the long scheme of the growing season of the crop. Curious as to why you leave it out on your operation.

So you must not be laying down residual very much. Only time see and spray makes sense is on clean up. Should have a clean up if you’re taking care of your residual applications.

In certain instances it’d be nice … ie for roundup ect but say spring wheat some of the chems used you get soil activity for a period of time ie. 24d and sulfonylurea’s ect ect or other incrop applications
