Shopping used to be fun and a treat. Now I am using up everything. I’ll be wearing my sneakers until they fall apart. 160 for sneakers? The cost of clothes? And the quality is trash. When is the last time you had a nice ribeye that wasn’t 30 bucks each. My dad paid 60 bucks for Walmart sheets last week wth! Why is a candy bar 3 dollars and smaller? Why are wind shelf wipers 55 dollars a set?

Corporations used inflation to hide massive profit margin increases & never brought them down, just keep hiking them. On top of that the quality of goods across the board is trash compared to years back.

the issue is with the CEOs, CFOs, etc, they are getting so much money ,millions and millions every year so the workers and profits suffer, so they raise the prices of everything. you ever wonder how companies use to pay a living wage, medical, and lifetime pension and still make money In the 50s,60s and 70s we use to live on one income, have a home, car and vacation these companies are making the board members rich, while we get the leftovers. Amazon, Google, ebay and all these giant corporations are paying their CEOs tens of millions every year. if they kicked down some of that to us presents we could actually afford to live, but they don't because we don't demand it.
