@paigempark: No amount of induction TikToks could have prepared me for my labor experience 😭 After unexpected blood loss and my baby’s heart rate dropping, I needed an emergency C-section. I ended up with almost 60% blood loss and was laying awake for three hours on the table thinking I wouldn’t make it. My OB-GYN walked around the partition completely covered in my blood and told me I had disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), causing extreme blood loss due to clotting issues. From the surgery, I was transferred to another hospital’s ICU and didn’t get the chance to hold my baby 😭💔 Twenty-four hours later, after graduating from the ICU to the postpartum room, they were able to transfer my baby girl to the same hospital where I could hold her for the first time 🩷 Love you forever, Leena girl
