I think it was probably that the Zhao lady writing and directing style is kind of weird. with the movies shes made recently. Hopefully Hulu can still somehow rework it or they shop it to another network

I would have rather had a series where every season shows a past slayer’s life or a series following one of the many activated slayers throughout the world who might have been mentored by Buffy. I’m probably the only fan that’s happy about this cancellation, but this new series always seemed like a bad idea to me

Buffy was in HS for only the first 3 seasons, the focus after that was 1 season as a college student, and then 4 more mainly focusing on her as an adult. So the revival could have worked, but honestly it woulda had to have been about her as a middle aged woman, which I think would have been interesting if executed well.
