Hmmm not sure I feel like you could take wayy more advantage of the overclock the +amo isn’t really useful since you never really lack amo on this gun

I use the red dispersal for more direct damage (where there is less ammo and magazine). It is better for beating bosses and big bugs. although with big waves of bugs it is really hard because there is not enough ammo.

does thunderhead have no overheat or why you're using it instead of minigun? if I'm not wrong it deals more damage against swarms (with proper upgrades/overclock) + can be useful vs some bosses

Ziplining during swarms is a big no-no for the gunner. The gunner is the dwarf better equipped to manage bug aggro and the best sustained damage of the team, it can stay in combat for longer and its the most impactful. Because of this, its better for the gunner to attract bug aggro as much as you possibly can, since you are the dwarf that is better equipped to clear caves and, if you find yourself in a pickle, you can always use the shield to create a safe space for a moment or toss a horde clearing grenade while you are reloading. Taking this pressure for you and being the teams frontline helps your team inmensely, since bugs will have a easier time trying to tear through a scout rather than a gunner, opposite to ziplining, where no bug can reach you and all the bug pressure you are not taking inevitably falls over the rest of your team. Also, this more of a preference, composite drums are fine but for thunderhead OCs there are options that allow you to exctract more firepower out of the gun without hurting ammo economy or changing your playstyle a lot

can I share my funny build for gunner? it utilises the lead storm mingun, don't exactly remember what upgrades I'll check later, but rhe key part is the upgrade that sets enemies on fire when you overheat and the overclock that gives you the coolant charges with that build you can overheat-instantly press R to cool down without releasing the attack button-keep shooting-overheat again(btw the overheat makes enemies scared)-repeat
