1. Yolyn Am was the highlight of my trip. Riding a horse there, I couldn't believe I was experiencing it for real. Horseback riding in Mongolia had always been on my bucket list, and I finally got to check it off! 2. Sometimes when you least expect it, good things happen. I wandered without any expectations, not knowing how big the desert was or how tough it would be to climb a dune. After two hours of just walking, I finally reached the top and was blown away by the view. The best moments happen when you let things unfold naturally. 3. Amidst the scarcity of good food, a cozy bed, clean toilets, internet access, regular showers, and sometimes electricity, I learned to appreciate even the simplest things like powdered coffee and hot water. 4. I realized I can stargaze for hours without thinking. You don’t need to be productive all the time. 5. Fun fact: When camels don't have fat stored in their humps, the humps shrink and become limp. 6. You don't need much to find happiness. Seek inspiration, embrace new experiences, and surround yourself with people who will journey alongside you. 7. I can live without internet. When I was traveling desert areas, internet was hard to come by. At first, I kept wanting to check for phone notifications, but as the days went on without a signal, I started feeling less tied to it. I could be more present and perhaps I needed that disconnection to rediscover and recover myself.
