I have an old Panasonic HDD that doesn’t connect to wifi. I need to take my Family Vids on VHS to a professional to get put on DVD or Flash Drive

That's all great. One need be easier. If you had a vcr with a hard drive and included with a dvd burner just like my old Toshiba

I have a VHS to dvd recorder. it's an LG. I need to get the VHS mechanism looked at. last time I tried to play videos it was being dodgy. might get around to it this year lol

Much simpler than when I transferred a personal dvd to my laptop…. Because dvd was straight 4 hours, it didn’t have tracks to break it up and my new laptop didn’t have a dvd drive, and my old busted laptop with a dvd drive had no memory so had to rip it to an external hard drive and copy it over and convert it 🤣 if I had to do my vhs tapes (which I have to do), I’ll have to find a dvr and hopefully it won’t be complicated 🤣🤣🤣

The Discontinued Roland VR-5 Pro Video Mixer connected between the VHS and a pc . Every other capture device i've tested provides a poor quality transfer that is not up to hollywood or broadcast quality standard. As it's a professional device it removes macro vision. The Roland VR-5 will also record to an SD Card.

I’ve digitized dozens and dozens of VHS tapes. The quality is just awful by today’s standards. Maybe A.I. Can reimagine them

I used to do this via a Samsung combo unit, but thinking back to my VHS to VHS dubs I can recall having to wait until the copyright notice disappeared before hitting record on the recipient VHS player to bypass copy protection. Good times!
