this is communication error. tell your spotter what you want done in certain circumstances. you told him no after he touched it, nothing he could've done differently in my opinion

when theres a new spotter, I always give them instructions before we start not to touch it unless i say help or spot. then I say if they spot if they can give a little help but let me work for that rep. works everytime.

Damn, I’m sorry that happened. Whenever I spot a random person I always tell them I’m not grabbing the bar till you tell me to grab it or I visibly see it start going down. You definitely had that rep 😮💨
