Paradise reopened in 2024 with its '2.0' era - they describe it as an elevated version of what came before - and the space is gorgeous, the atmosphere intimate and the food full of depth and character. I’ve personally recommended it to friends and family, and it’s been a hit every time. We enjoyed the Land & Sea Autumn 2025 tasting menu, which consisted of 👇 🔸 Rasam - lacto‑fermented Kentish raspberry rasam, calamansi leaf oil 🔸 Elumas roll - raw mutton roll tartare, tomato & garlic emulsion, smoked charcoal oil 🔸 Kimbula banis - green chilli custard, kithul glaze, lime chutney, Corra Linn 🔸 Kiri‑hodi - hand‑dived Orkney scallop, native lobster & riesling hiri‑hodi, preserved wild garlic oil, coconut kiri‑bath, quail’s egg hopper 🔸 Isso roti - puffed spelt & coconut pol‑roti, devilled glazed prawn, mango chutney, green tea & jasmine pickled fennel 🔸 Mas curry - dry‑aged sirloin, lion stout glaze, Kandyan sunflower seed curry, turmeric & saffron dahl, fried aubergine, jaggery moju, buttermilk paratha 🔸 Paneer, tunworth & chocolate - paneer, Hampshire Tunworth, caramelised white chocolate ice cream, coconut roti crisp 🔸 Mihiri - peppermint, cinnamon & clove tea cream, Halmilla arrack, Yorkshire rhubarb, served with their Nuwara‑Eliya tea blend This restaurant makes for a special experience, without being showy and overpriced.
