@jessnuremberg: I stopped waiting for the perfect timing, the perfect partner, or the perfect plan. My clock was ticking and the desire to become a mother was louder than my fear of doing it alone. So I chose a donor, went through many rounds of IVF, and chose motherhood anyway. It was not easy, but it was intentional and filled with love. Now I’m raising my daughter as a single mom by choice and sharing what this journey really looks like for anyone wondering if they can do it too.
