I loved the concept of Cinderella from the perspective of one of the ugly stepsisters, and it somehow felt fresh despite it being a retelling of such a well-known fairy tale. The Regency setting made me love it even more. Theo is such a complex but lovable FMC who shone more and more as the story went on. The side characters stand on their own, and the found family element in these books completely tugged on my heartstrings.
