I tend to disagree, as a later in lifer coming out at 48, I didn't want to be with a woman who didn't know and accept me and my story fully, as I would accept her and her story. For me, I wanted the first time with a woman to be with someone in every way, emotionally as well as sexually. It was 100% the right decision. I don't grant anyone access to my body without knowing and feeling that emotional closeness. I do agree with going into your first experiences with fun and pleasure at the forefront, with the right woman everything falls into place with patients and respect from both sides. Obviously everyone thinks of intimacy differently and each to their own.
