I traveled an hour and a half on buses and ran in the snow to see the giant Buddha statue in Takino, Sapporo. It closed at 4pm and I got there at 3:55 pm. They wouldn’t let me in. It’s an outdoor exhibit. Tatamae is so ass sometimes.
