@djmackkpr1me: The Cure – “Burn” The Crow (1994 Soundtrack) Some soundtracks don’t just accompany a film. They define its atmosphere. When The Crow was released in 1994, its soundtrack became just as legendary as the film itself. Dark, emotional, and haunting, the music helped shape the film’s gothic identity. One of the most powerful tracks on that soundtrack was “Burn” by The Cure. Written specifically for the film, the song carries the same intensity and shadow that surrounds the story of Eric Draven. For this showcase, the focus isn’t just the music — it’s the cultural moment. The Crow soundtrack introduced a generation of listeners to a darker blend of alternative rock and cinematic storytelling. This reel revisits that moment through the lens of the Orpheus Vinyl archive, where music history is preserved and rediscovered one record at a time.
