Hindi si God ang manhid kundi tayong mga tao. Parang ang pinapalabas ng mundong ito ay mas nakakahiya yung malapit ka sa Diyos kesa yung mga ginagawa nilang makamundo na lunod na lunod na sa kasarapan,sa pagpapayaman,pagoorganize ng mga event ng kung ano ano, mga walang pakialam. Si Noah not because perfect siya but because he walked with God and while everyone ignored God…Noah obeyed even when it sounded crazy. Umulan ng 40 araw at gabi, tinakpan ng tubig ang lahat, at nawala ang buhay sa labas. Sa panahon nila isipin mo hindi naman agad kumilos ang Panginoon, God’s patience is real but so is His holiness. ONE DETAIL PEOPLE OVERLOOK “The Lord shut him in.”, God Himself closed the ark, sa 2nd coming ni Jesus Christ, dito lang maiintindihan ng mga taong ayaw makinig ang totoong pain ng katotohanan. Ngayon balikan mo ang mga kwentong matatalinghaga ni Jesus sa Matthew at dun mo makikita ang connection nito dito sa chapter na ito. ANG MGA MANGMANG ANG SIYANG MAPAPAHAMAK KUNG PATULOY NA HINDI MAKIKINIG. After everything, God made a covenant and the sign was the rainbow, not just pretty colors but it was a promise that God’s mercy would still remain. The rainbow first belonged to God before culture gave it other meanings, in Genesis 9 it symbolizes covenant, mercy, remembrance, and grace after judgment. But Noah’s story also ends realistically because after the flood, Noah still failed, meaning even saved people are still human. The flood changed the world… but it didn’t fully remove the sinful nature of humanity. That’s why humanity would still need a deeper rescue someday, at yung someday na yun ay hindi na nalalayo. Tandaan mo lang kapatid na sa gitna ng bagyo, may inihanda Siyang kanlungan. Sa gitna ng pagkabigo, may ibinibigay Siyang panibagong simula.
