@rollinjoint: There were two food stalls we wanted so badly (I’ll show you the second one soon). Because it’s a Korean food stall that isn’t another fried chicken shop. It’s something different. Hotteok. Hotteok is a Korean street-food pancake made from yeasted dough, usually filled with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nuts, then fried until crispy outside and gooey inside. But modern versions have evolved. Some even have noodles or meat inside. And Hoho Hotteok created something I’d never tried before. 
Kimchi bulgogi hotteok. It tasted like a crispy Korean BBQ dumpling disguised as a pancake. The outside was crisp and chewy like a classic hotteok, but the inside was savory, sweet bulgogi, tangy kimchi, all wrapped inside. And honestly… I thought it was even better than the famous Namdaemun hotteok (I’m not just saying cause they will be part of the festival lol). Because Jinny and Luke didn’t just make it and hope for the best. They researched, practiced, and even went to Korea to study hotteok properly. And you can really taste that dedication in the food.
