I just ended a long distance relationship of 10 years. We were engaged after 9 years. We’ve never lived together. After 1.5 years of being engaged, he admitted that he didn’t feel comfortable getting married before living together. He needed to live together first. But after 10 years of dating, like come on??? It was going to keep elongating and my gut told me that this man will never marry me. So I gave the ring back and we went our separate ways. It just wasn’t meant to be.
