@erin_lav_: Life after cancer definitely hasn’t been what I expected but coming to terms with the fact that recovering from treatment is not linear has helped massively. I have days that I feel good and days that I don’t but the more I listen to my body and realise when it’s okay to push things and when I need rest the more good days I’m starting to have ! After learning that the extremly low hormones levels I’ve had for the last year and a half can effect bone density strength training is something I’m trying to focus on alongside my overall fitness/stamina. Having a healthy body is such a blessing and I want to do everything I can to give myself the best chance at recovering fully ❤️ #lifeaftercancer #medicallyinducedmenopause #chemohairregrowth

Well done Erin for getting back in the gym! Remember you don’t have to push yourself 100% every time. Any exercise is better than none, and consistency over time is far better than overdoing it! Best of luck 🫶

Absolutely amazing your able go to the gym to get your fitness and strength back up again Just take your time Chemo is probably still in your system My husband finished his chemo and radiation treatment last July for Stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma he’s also now in remission but he’s experiencing lots of pain in his lower back where tumour was in his vertebrae also his hips and his feet which could be side affects of Chemo too he couldn’t possibly use the gym or exercise at the moment Erin your truly amazing ❤️

It is so hard to believe that a year has passed since your treatment finished 😱, it is a journey with plenty of ups and downs 🥹, do what your body allows 🤗. Old baldy boy is raging, even after chemo you have more hair than me 🥹🤣🤣

The come back is tough. I spewed a good few times after the gym to begin with. And before I was diagnosed just felt like I was suddenly becoming unfit. But there was no way because I was doing so much so made no sense that I suddenly couldn’t manage. That was my first sign something was wrong. I blamed not working hard enough and Covid making me tired. Xx
