you shouldn't do this. laptops are designed with airflow holes or vents at the top because they already run so hot when you play games. You are basically cooking ur laptop inside. thermal paste will dry out faster, you will get thermal throttling,and components could break.

if ur laptop keyboard heats up when your laptop gets hot then dont close it bc it stops airflow
