I’m alone as well for Eid, it feels overwhelming and kind of sad but you know what alhamdulillah! It’s ok have dedicated that time for myself to take care of me and spoil myself even if it’s with a nice meal . Make dua, you inshallah will have your family & kids to celebrate with and no you ain’t really alone . He is always there but I get it! We are humans and need socialising, a community. Stay strong, focus on you and love yourself more, be gentle to your emotions ( sadness, frustration, emptiness) don’t allow them to come inside your heart, don’t let them distract your trust in Allah swt

Totally relate . Never missed a Salah , an evening prayer , paid my charity loved the feeling of being around brothers all through this month but when did comes . Alone . Eid is a time for family and friends
