I love the idea of Maddie’s law! I feel like they should also make it so a child is required to spend time at a juvenile detention center and the time spent there should depend on the severity of the bullying.

Just so heartbreaking. I think you need to be a bit cautious with social media right now as you are right in the beginning stages of your grief journey so I’d imagine that this will be the most painful and triggering time. I know you want to do good - you already have and you will continue to do so!! But I hope you know that you don’t need to do it all right here and right now. Take some time, spend as much time as possible outside in nature to keep yourself grounded and in touch with the earth that you will be continuing to live on, in honour of your beautiful daughter. Social media won’t be going anywhere in the meantime and you also don’t owe anybody anything in terms of comments/people saying things as if they know you or your situation better than yourself. All of that specific noise is unnecessary added stress and can’t be good right now.. ♥️

My district I work for starts in elementary school we have a seminar the kids go to and participate in group activities to teach them the bullying. I pray they help pass the laws it’s very sad 🥹 I’m sorry sending hugs n prayers GOOD LUCK

when my sister lost her son at 3 yo she never planned another birthday party. what she did do is called a bakery and donated a cake to a child whose birthday was the same day as his.

I think that's a great idea for kids in school to do a mandatory class or assembly about bullying.. my child isn't even in school and I am completely terrified when he's ready to start the school system has gotten so bad.. also check etsy I think u can make special requests. I hope u find a beautiful urn for your daughter
