My mother did this and would cry for her to talk to me. I remember being small and so confused and hurt. She would turn the volume all the way up on the TV to drown me out so I would leave.

my mother has done this to me then told my siblings and extended family I do not want anyone to contact me. When a sibling write a letter saying they are fed up seeing my mother crying over me! Explained i never changed my contact details and phoned them from number I was accused of changing. I never heard from them again. Its so hard

I had that for 50yrs, I finally snapped, and went no contact. I did go around, instead of her saying sorry, I got YOU got the wrong end of the stick. knew it would be my fault. I'm finally not scared of her anymore. but I get the flying monkeys. x

My mother has done this to me all my life and tells everyone I do it . Then she comes around like nothing happened and I’m so scared to lose her , I don’t say anything . She started giving my child the silent treatment when she got mad at me. He’s five now and she missed his birthday and Christmas after she told my son Santa gave her his gift . She recently came to my house as if nothing happened and I finally confronted her in Spanish so my son wouldn’t understand and she started telling my son in English that I’ve always been a bad daughter who disappears. Then she told me bye forever. Good riddance . I can’t believe she believes her own lies . I actually feel free now
