I simply cannot figure out if I should do a trans drain & fill. I have a 2013 Corolla with 162k miles. just got it, unknown maintenance history. I see everyone literally split on whether you should do it or leave it alone. idk what to do

my 2013 exl has trouble catching 2nd gear at low speeds (10-20mph) i have 135k miles. I also just did a full trans fluid change and it stopped for a week but its doing it again

Just did mine at 170k, also did it at 150k and developed a slight shudder this time. Hopefully it goes away with some more miles and after unhooking battery overnight

I’ll give you a free diagnosis: Replace the stater and rotate the torque converter one bolt hole TSB 16-002. I’d highly recommend getting an OEM Honda starter.
