I see it a little differently. I think the problem is how we spend our money. Just because we make 6 figures doesn't mean we can afford a $1200 car note and a $600,000 mortgage. It also doesnt mean you we can $600 a month of hair, nails, clothes, and shoes. Whether its $60k or $500k a year, you have to learn how to budget and pay yourself first....because you will not be able to work forever.

Yes! When I made $65k a year my house payment was $800 a month for a 3br 2 bth. My utilities were never over $150 and you could get a great car for 15k. I lived better when I made 65k years ago than I do now
