@dailymailau: The child had been trying to reach out of the lift when the doors rolled open. As they opened, the tot's hand became trapped. Thankfully, after a tense two-minute struggle, the tot was able to remove their arm from the door as the surrounding locals looked visibly relieved that they were not seriously hurt. Locals later confirmed that the child had come away unscathed with no serious injuries.
