The Secret Gang War Among My Stray Cats 🐱 Living with cats is never boring - especially when one mischievous tabby cat decides to turn your life into a daily adventure. This tabby has been with me for four years, but somehow he still refuses to stay inside the house. Instead, he prefers hiding in bushes, wandering through alleys, and appearing in random places around the neighborhood. I've lost count of how many times I've had to crawl into the bushes just to find him. Every time I almost catch him, he moves to another hiding spot and waits for me to search all over again. At this point, I'm seriously considering clearing the entire bush area just so he has nowhere left to hide. But there's one thing about this cat - he loves food. Back in 2023 he was skinny like a little monkey, but now he's turned into a chubby 'pig' thanks to his endless appetite. I even built a beautiful stray cat shelter for the cats I rescued, hoping they would enjoy a warm and safe place to sleep. Some of them love it, especially the cats that once had homes. These former house cats still keep their old habits. But the true street cats - like the tabby and his group - prefer the wild life. One of them is a blind blue cat named Fortune, who sometimes accidentally walks into the wrong group's territory. Let's just say… the cats in this neighborhood seem to have their own little gang politics. Stray cat communities can actually be surprisingly complex. Just like in many U.S. neighborhoods from California to Florida, outdoor cats naturally form social groups, territories, and rivalries.
