Interesting you say only 6 m6 bolts hold the large valve body to the trans case… the other transmission with problematic valve bodies 10L1000 and 10L90 also have only 9 m6 bolts. Significantly larger than the 68 valve body too! Wonder if that could be related to their issues despite the mainstream issues being listed as the feed limit valves…

I have 2017 with little over 100k miles is it worth putting new valve body on the trans with that many miles. I was told it wouldn't help or make a difference. Just trying make my trans last I tow fifth wheel camper

New RevMax and all the billet goodies with a new DPC triple disc and Hardway tuning. Just did a reclutch after 100,000 miles. Hard parts looked good. Guys think when you drive hard and tow heavy a built 68 should last forever. They still require maintenance beyond fluid changes

okay please reply. 15' 68rfe, slipping 3-4, 4-5, 5-6 . keep getting loss of pres, shift solenoid and sometimes incorrect gear ratio but very rare. did a fluid flush + both filters and it was still pink so i'm taking it as there's no bad clutches and it's a valve body + tuning issue. please lmk if this is correct

One thing about the bill plate I’m not a fan of. They don’t give you new hardware to install it and now you’re losing thread depth and I don’t know if the updated it yet but one of the holes I believe on 19 and up wasn’t mailed correctly and when installed you will pull threads it is by their second actuator that gets installed on the bottom

Josh coming in clutch, always with the best advice! I can attest to this. I got just over 200k on my stock trans on my mega and I’m sure it’s because I put a valve body in when I first got it! 👊🏻👊🏻

I got a 5g with a 68 with 50k miles on it. Thing has towed pretty much all its miles and I was rippin burnouts all weekend corner after corner lol. Am I cooked?
