I realized a long time ago...everything is drastic someone.. I realized the everything is info that they only tell you ... lots of info is left out on purpose. So I only check out and believe what I can substantiate. Plus...I have family that only tell you what they want you to know...I learned to then...just not give a shit.

I’ve never had as much grief as I have recently by simply taking in the world. Avoiding ‘absorbing’ is something that is extremely hard for me because of empathy, but especially emotional attunement. I have many mental health reasons that can contribute, but empathy and emotional attunement are valuable, because even if the connection means I’ll feel someone else pain, it’s an authentic connection that runs deep. 💙

I get better at it as time goes on, the reality of it is the world spins around us faster than we can run. Control what’s in front of you while you can and let go of what’s too far to reach. You will burn yourself out trying to sympathize with the world. I think we need to turn it off, touch some grass, love our neighbors and ourselves more often.
