@liveinmotion1: Enjoyed some sunshine today with a walk outside and figured it was the perfect moment for a quick fit check ☀️ After a slight cheat on the diet this weekend, I had to see if everything was still on track. Threw on my favorite Steve Grand speedos for the test… and honestly, not mad at the results 😅💪 #FitCheck #ProgressCheck #FitnessJourney #WeekendVibes #StayConsistent @GRAND-AXIS

I get a lot of rude comments saying things like: you have nothing to contribute, you're pathetic, you have no skills, all you do is show your body, and the list gets worse from there. People can be extremely mean. I usually don't pay too much attention to them because we all know how social media goes. I was a firefighter paramedic and in the fire service for 12 years of my life. I worked extremely hard to get where I was in my career and landed my dream job. I bought my husband and my first home, I paid off my own truck, ! bought the fifth wheel we live in, I even put my husband through lineman school. I was the provider for many years. I have a bachelors degree. I have a commercial DL. I still hold all my fire and paramedic certifications. I have seen so much death, pain, loss, and survival. I've saved lives; l've not been able to save lives. I have put my whole life & heart into my career. I've given my back to my career with multiple herniated discs to show. I loved serving my community. Now I have chosen to serve my family, my husband, and my home in a different capacity. Being away for 48 hours + at a time 2 hours from home with two babies at home was the hardest thing l've ever had to do. Before anything I have always wanted to be a mother and a wife. Once I had my babies...chasing fire didn't have the same draw as before. My highs are watching them take their first steps, learn how to talk, teach them skills they wouldn't learn at school, see their eyes light up every morning when Mama comes to wake them, and cuddle them every night to sleep. Being up all night with them so my husband gets his rest. Making sure my husband is set for his work week, keeping him going when he's beat down and tired. Taking care of people has always been my calling. Now I get to take care of MY people. I show my husband the love he deserves from his wife. I'm proud of who lam. I am proud of my body transforming, bringing these beautiful lives into the world back to back. I'm proud of my little family. I am so lucky to have it. My babies will only be this little once. Social media helps me to stay at home and provide for my family. It's a mere glimpse into someone's life. #firefighter #mom #firewoman
