I know which creator you’re talking about, I saw the same video and I’ve seen several of her others. I definitely see where she is coming from and I appreciate her positivity but being a SAHM with no other childcare is different! It’s extremely mentally taxing to not get time to yourself or a break and it is okay to express frustration with that to your partner, they’re your support person!

struggling with this too and find myself feeling frustrated with my husband sometimes. he’s gone before our daughter wakes up and majority of the time, home after she’s in bed. but I see the toll it takes on him too not getting to spend time with her as often as I do, and like you said he’s working to provide for us, not because he wants to be away! it’s an overwhelming feeling knowing you have to do it all alone everyday, I totally get it!

I’ve realized that creator is living a different motherhood as she has a village right across from her where I do not 🙃 We are living two different motherhoods and that just is what it is. Solo parenting is hard bottom line. You are doing amazing🩷

I totally get what you are saying (or trying to say lol) I stayed home with my kids so that might be part of why I understand. Then you get the ppl who say oh it must be nice staying home with your kids like it’s a luxury to be able to do it. It’s hard work, the best kind of work but hard!

My husband works 24 hr shifts and needs to rest when he initially gets home. Overtime is needed for us so that means sometimes I’m 48 hrs solo parenting with our 6 month old. It’s so hard but thankfully I have people who a come hang out with me and I try to get out of the house as much as I can by myself. I exclusively pump as well and am just now starting to wean. The struggle is real
